I recently was looking into an old needlepoint book and I found notes about stitches I had used going back to 1979. It was such fun to remember those old pieces and it got me thinking about keeping records. One way to keep records is to make notes in books. When you stitch something, make a note of the project where you have the diagram of the stitch. Be sure to include the project, who it was for, and the date. This works great if you don’t have tons of books. I do, so I keep a file of stitches. There is an index card for each stitch and they are organized by families.
