OK, so this is not a stitching post, but I was meeting a stitching friend for lunch yesterday, at a place which the SF Chronicle had said has great hamburgers. Since I know (and love) the place in Napa County which they say has great burgers, I figured it was a trustworthy recommendation. Boy was I wrong. I should note that hamburgers, without many condiments, are just about my favorite food. I am very picky about the meat in them. I has to be good, juicy and actually taste like something. I eat them plain with only cheese. So I went to the place and what did I get — a hockey puck. That’s my DH’s name for chewy, mostly tasteless, pre-formed thin burgers.
