Calling Bay Area & Sacramento Stitchers!

February 21, 2009

CORRECTION: My bad, I got the date wrong, the auction is February 28.

Do you live in the San Francisco Bay Area or Sacramento?

Do you want to pick up threads, canvases, and other needlepoint goodies at bargain basement prices?

Do you want to spend a day in the lovely Napa Valley?

Then put my guild chapter’s Needlepoint Auction on your calendar for next Saturday, February 28.

Thanks to a very generous donation from one of our members, we have threads, including discontinued ones like Medici, at prices which are so low that you can stitch in these fine threads at prices which can make floss at the needlework store look like silk.

Best of all for thread junkies, you can mix and match threads and colors to find exactly what you need.

There is also a huge silent auction with great canvas, a glorious collection of needlepoint books (thanks to another generous donation), and lots of supplies and other goodies.

The auction is at the Napa Senior Center on Jefferson Street, and it begins at 10 AM. The live auction, with more great stuff, begins at noon.

If you need detailed directions or lunch recommendations, send me an email. And let me know if you heard about it here (I’m at the thread table).

This is going to be so much fun!
