Isn’t this the most adorable cat quilt? I love how it really captures the idea of a scrap quilt while creating a wonderful project for using scrap threads.
The design is from Patt and Lee Designs and is one of Patt’s Less Than Full Skein designs. These are made to use up your stash and provide a way to try different stitches. Many of them are quilt inspired and are available in three mesh sizes, 14, 16, or 18.
I’m doing mine of 16 mesh, a size I love.
In addition to your stash you will need a dark brown for the borders and for the horizontal lines between the cats. I m using a dar brown Persian wool, but you can choose any thread you like. These areas will be stitched first.
Next week, we’ll do the borders and probably a cat or two. You can follow this series by clicking on the “Come Stitch with Me” subject link. I will also provide a list of the links at the end of each post as the project grows.
Follow the entire series and stitch along!

Really cute! I’m a little overloaded with projects, but this is a great way to use up bits of stash. Thanks!
