Expanded Nativity Stitch Guide -TNNA Preview

Needledeeva has expanded their nativity set to include seven more figures. My stitch guide, O Holy Night, now includes the entire set of three angels, three kings, mary & Jesus, Joseph, a lamb, a goat, two camels and an elephant. And it includes a stable backdrop.
The cover is reproduced above.
I love nativities and I’ve wanted a needlepoint one for a long time, and I have (and am) having such fun stitching this one. Right now I’m working on the elephant (I started it last night) and the shepherd with geese. You’ll be able to see the first group, all finished, as well as the new figures I’m stitching at Needledeeva’s booth at TNNA.
The stitch guide makes it so easy to stitch the entire group to make a lovely decoration. Thew backgrounds and borders are all the same. I use the same threads throughout so that there is a lovely unity to the set. The kings, camels, and elephant sparkle with rich silks and metallics. The shepherds and the Holy Family are more humble in cottons. The goat and lamb and cows in the stable use great (and easy) techniques for making fur. Within the guide you’ll find lots of great ideas for creating clothing from needlepoint.
It’s been a little while since I’ve worked on many of the figures and I’m am having so much fun doing them. They are all small, so they are quick to stitch, and each one has a real personality, so they make a great set.
The guide is available now as are the figures.
Be sure to stop by booth 2054 & 2056 to see them!
