Has this happened to you?
You are making large Cross Stitches (over 3 threads or more). You like the look of the stitches which are a different color from the canvas except . . . for those annoying traveling threads that show through on the back of the canvas.
I hate it too. Usually my solution is to add another layer of stitching to hide these threads, but that isn’t always the best choice.
If you’ve given up of these stitches, don’t do that.
Joni Stevenson has an easy way to prevent these traveling threads in a recent blog post. It’s so delightfully easy I wonder why I never thought of it.
