Shout out to Laura Perin for telling us about this lovely tutorial on how to frame needlework.
It’s not hard to do and if you learn to do it yourself you can take advantage of sales and less expensive frames.

The instructions are in three languages, with English being the second.

Also spend some time looking at the posts and on the lovely projects she has done and framed.

I love this tutorial. Very helpful w/the photos. I do you have any concern about the cardboards not being archival quality.

sorry, two thoughts bouncing off each other…do you have concerns not using archival quality cardboards against the cloth?

I don’t myself, but if you do, good art supply and frame component companies will have archival materials.

    Keep Stitching,
