Color through Gold Patch
The next patch, pictured at the top of the posts is the last patch in the two patch arms. It’s a simple straight stitch, Double Hungarian (below), stitched in alternating rows of gold metallic ribbon and your overdye.
A magic thing happens when you double the number of stitches in each step of a straight stitch — the shapes become more rounded. That’s great to know because doing this allows you to use many of these stitches as backgrounds for rounded focal points.
Update on the Blog
I am cautiously optimistic that the blog will be more stable. I’ve reduced the number of posts by about 20% by removing ones with bad links and outdated information. I’m still in the process of doing this.
Other things have been happening to clean things up. The site is now on a faster server, irrelevant tags have been deleted, and I’ve cleaned up the database.
What this means to you is that the blog should be there and load more quickly.
