This month marks the second anniversary of this blog being updated daily. When I started to do this, I thought I’d just try it out for a bit and that I would soon run out of needlepoint stuff to talk about.
But I haven’t and there is still so much to write about.
So, in celebration of this, I’m having a big giveaway. In it there will be new products, threads, maybe some canvases and other goodies.
All you need to do to get in the contest is to put a comment on this post. If you want to tell me what you like or what you’d like to see here, that would make me hugely happy, but it isn’t necessary.
I’ll give everything away on October 5th (my son’s birthday, so I won’t forget).

Happy Anniversary! I’ve learned so much from reading your blog.
Congratulations on the anniversary of daily updates. I definitely read everyday. I would like to see more pictures of your work!

I’ve just started reading blogs for needlepoint and cross stitch and yours is top on the list. There seems to be fewer and fewer people doing this kind of needlework which is a shame because it is beautiful, satisfying (when you finally finish!) and just plain fun. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and info for this kind of art.
I love reading your blog daily, but I dislike that you use blog post promotor. I use a reader to keep track of all of the blogs I read and everyday I get one of your old posts marked as new thanks to blog promotor. It just gets annoying to have to skip that post to get to the real new one!
What I really like about this blog is the daily update. Almost every day I visit it and often I read something that inspires me.

Thanks for all the info!
Congratulations! I enjoy your blog and I without your blog I would not have your help with our friends Fred and Ginger. Keep Blogging!! Kely
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SECOND ANNIVERSARY!!
I liked how you told everyone about the EGA conference and things to do and see nearby the hotel. Especially the parking!!
Thank you!
Congratulations on the blog’s 2nd anniversary! My favorite part about your site is how easy it is to find things. I’m a new stitcher and appreciate all the advice your posts offer. For the future, I’d love to see shop profiles, especially stores that have a good online selection. Even though I live in an area with several shops, I’m an online shopper to the core and would love to find more resources where I can purchase needlepoint canvases and threads.
I love this blog and visit it daily , you have led me to spend money and time and enjoy more my favorite pastime. Please keep it up!!
Deb
Love the unexpected patterns that you find and challenge us with. New ideas and threads are always fun along with the stitches you suggest.
It’s amazing to me that you can find the time to update daily – keep up the good work!
I love receiving my daily email from Nuts about Needlepoint. Although I don’t have much time now to stitch due to young kids I love keeping up to date on all the new ideas. Keep up the good work. Happy Anniversary

Thanks for the comment. I used this because I want people to be able to access the good older information on the site. But I agree this aspect can be a bother.
If anyone knows of another plug in that might work, please let me know.
Keep Stitching,
Janet
Congrats on your anniversary! Here’s to another year of great tips, tricks and ideas!

Thanks for keeping all of us so well informed about all things needlepoint, Janet! Your blog is a regular part of my day. I especially enjoy your posts about your current stitching and how you solve stitching problems. Book reviews are welcome too.

My only comment is to keep up the interesting information you send us.
I can remember when you stopped doing your earlier blog & I had nothing to look forward to on Fridays but now there’s this everyday. Helps take the stress out of my days. Mary R
Congrats on your anniversary! I come back every day to see what wisdom you’re sharing. Haven’t been disappointed yet!

Darn it! I have been spending so much time reading your blog that it has cut into my stitching time and I have to go to bed late, late, late. Just kidding! Love your blog….
