christmas lights needlepoint club, designed by janet perry

There are just two weeks left to sign up for my Christmas Lights Club, a monthly program of 12 stitch sampler lights. Designed for Advanced Beginner stitchers, eacg light features two different stitches.

The “bulb” shows off a stitch that combines metallics and overdyes. Stitches using multiple threads can add some great texture to needlepoint. The “base” stitches are all stitches that have oblique movement, another useful set of stitches to know.

As you can see from the pictures, there are two options for stitching each ornament. You can make them as a coordinated set or as individual lights. They are perfect for any holiday celebration.

The kit includes a line-drawn canvas and instructions for that month’s ornament. There is also an overall lesson sent at the beginning of the program. The sets are mailed out around the 15th of each month.

Billed monthly, the cost is $10. You can also do a one-time payment of $100.

Use this club as a great way to learn new stitches, use your stash and fire your creativity!
