For all of us who love the Lee canvases and leather products a new owner has been announced. The new owner is Colonial Needle.

Unless you also knit, you might not be familiar with their name. Along with making wonderfull rosewood knitting needles, they are also the distributor for John James needles. They also distribute several other lines of European needles, thimbles, and accessories.

I’m so excited they are taking over one of my favorite lines.

Lee has also been one of my favorite lines. In fact they painted a canvas for me after it had been discontinued. I am so glad to hear they have a new owner! Yes!!!

Thank goodness Lee Art Works will be available. I have been searching for “3 Friends” painted canvas……will
Colonial Needle be carrying the canvases? I went on their site and nothing was mentioned about Lee Art Works.
Love your daily email…..thank you for all your hard work. You’ve pulled me out of many a tought spot!

I think they are available now. This weekend is the big Needlework Market, so I’m thinking that will be, more or less, the official launch.

    Hi Janet:

Normally I don’t promote things on other people’s blogs, but there has been so much talk about Lee’s, the new owners and where to get their canvases.

We are having a trunk show of the new Lee’s now..through March 20. Some new leathers, old favorites ,etc…also we can special order anything if it not in the show or has already been sold.

Lee’s is ramping up with inventory, and we are so thrilled to see their line continue!

Bravo. Good luck with the show.

    Keep Stitching,
    Janet
