March Giveaway & Needlepoint Resolution Winner

I want to thank all you loyal readers for following this blog and for putting up with my irregular posting these last few months.

So I’m starting a monthly giveaway for people who post comments to the giveaway post. To enter the contest, just post a comment to this entry along with you name and email. Entries close March 29, 2009 at midnight Pacific Time.

I’ll select a winner from among the entries and will announce it in the post for April’s giveaway.

What will you win?

A selection of five packages of thread, based around one of the skeins, an overdye. In addition, you will receive a design, suitable as a stash project from Napa Needlepoint.

Good Luck!

I’ve also been remiss in announcing the winner of the needlepoint resolution contest from back in January. The winner is Linda who wrote:

My needlepoint resolution is to enter at least one piece in the state fair! I have several I could (and a couple that even really qualify by having been done since the last state fair), but I am thinking the one I am working on now (a Laura Perin piece with the colors changed) might be the one. . . My other resolution is to get the Coffelt painted canvas my sister picked out for her (2009) Christmas present done by her birthday (August) and to do as much of it as possible from stash. That one may be tougher!

Congratulations to her!

    Hi Janet,

Just wanted you to know that you have an amazing site and I love reading your posts. I pass by almost everyday and feel a little low the days you don’t post.
All said, being a beginner I would love to win the giveaway and add some threads to my small collection.
    Take care

I too have recently organized the thread that has been all over the place into a convenient location. Seperated the dmc by numbers and pearls and watercolors and beads in their own boxes. Thank you for your inspiration and please enter me i your contest. Gayle

I learned needlepoint as a girl and now that I’m…ahem!…a bit older I’ve been thinking about putting my idle fingers to some good use again. I’ve enjoyed exploring your site, which has been an inspiration.

I’m just a beginning needlepointer, but just love looking at all the projects online. I have just started a Christmas ornament, something small, and I am loving it.
I have enjoyed exploring your blog site.

You have a wonderful site. I started to needlepoint to help me relax and overcome the grief of losing my sister and nephew to a drunk driver in October 2008. Your site has inspired me and offered me a lot of needed guidance. Thank you.

This is a lovely opportunity to receive some stash and a chance to stich a lovely needlepoint. It’s been a few years since I did this technique. I’m willing to pick up the technique again as it is a lovely way to learn new stitches. Thanks for the giveaway :-).
