Mounting Needlework through Lacing Tutorial

Saturday, November 7, 2009

Lacing your needlepoint over a board so that it stays taut and straight is the best way to finish needlework of all kinds for framing.

But it isn’t always the easiest thing to learn. Thanks to Denise at Craft Gossip, I found a lavishly illustrated tutorial on how to do this at the blog June at Noon.

Although the tutorial is illustrated with embroidery on fabric, the process is the same for needlepoint.

Great stuff!
