Judy has added another delightful way to use the hearts and Bargello pattern I talked about in the last post. She has adapted them to be napkin rings.

I just love this idea!

Napkin Rings are so fun to make and to use. They can be done in different colors to match your linens or your plates. You could make a set for your family and have each be different colors, so people know which napkin is “theirs.” And you have the wonderful advantage of using pretty cloth napkins instead of paper ones or “everyday whites” as we call paper towels at our house.

Judy has provided us with the pattern on her FREEBIES, Etc. blog. Now it’s easy for us to make our own.

One last note. If you plan on making these, think about using interlock canvas. It’s lighter in weight, more flexible, and will make them easier to finish and use.
