The San Bernadino Chapter of ANG is huge, welcoming members from both near (east of LA) and far. Several of my friends belong to this chapter as long-distance members. The chapter is wonderful at having many exiting projects and at making it is easy for members who aren’t close to participate.
They have recently put up a wonderful slide show of work from their members. You can view it on their site or on Picusa if you are a member there.
It’s full of wonderful stuff.
If you’ve never viewed this kind of slide show before, you may be wondering how to see more pictures. Under each picture there is a hidden navigation bar that pops up when you slide your cursor over it. If you don’t see it, slide your cursor down the picture.
For each lovely piece, you’ll see the stitched needlepoint and the names of both the stitcher and the designer.

Thanks for posting this, Janet! We hope that lots more SB chapter members from around the country will send us photos for inclusion in the gallery. As you noted, we strive to make our programs and workshops as accessible as possible to our distance members.
I don’t think that you have to be a member of Picasa to view the photos from their site. I’ve included a direct link to our album on Picasa at the bottom of the gallery page so that iPad and iPhone users (and anyone else who wants to) can see the photos individually.

Thank you Janet for your kind comments regarding our ANG chapter. We are striving to be a great chapter for local and distant members alike. We have many great members who use their talents in this effort. We offer wonderful monthly programs and workshops that give all a variety of needlework in which to participate. Most of these educational opportunities are offered to our distant members. Belle Sprague is our wonderful web site designer and she continues to amaze us with her abilities. Our chapter offers an exclusive free yearly design to members from a well known designer. Watch for the coming year long project from Margaret Bendig.
