Oh Snap Project Bags – Product Review

July 19, 2011

I bought a set of two of these mesh project bags from Namaste recently. I loved their large size and gray color. But I worried about the snap top — would it hold my threads, tiny scissors, and needle tine securely. After carting stuff around for a couple of weeks, I can say that yes, it’s secure, and yes I love these bags.

Fot about $20 (some places sell them for much less) you can get either a set of three smaller bags (6.5×4, 9×7, and 10×8) or two large (14×10 and 15.5×12) in either pink or gray.

The bags came in a clear plastic envelope that can serve as another project bag. The mesh is incredibly airy and soft. The snaps are about2 inches apart and are very heavy-dutyy, closing easily with a satisfying click.

While the top isn’t solidly closed the way it would be with a zipper, my stitching things stayed securely inside.

10% of the proceeds of the pink bags goes to support breast cancer research.

I love these bags!
