The spring On-line Needlework Show opened yesterday. With every show, there is more and more great stuff for needlepointers. You can look at the entire show by going to their home page and clicking on general view.
I went through the show for you and found the needlepoint. Each company is linked to their general page at the show.
- Arlete Studio, the author of Here by Wyverns and Here Be Drolleries (link to my reviews of them here and here) has these books and charts based on Medieval designs.
- Bagsmith has Sanjou scissors from France as well as their other items
- Brenda E. Kocher has many lovely charted needlepoint pieces, including some with Bargello
- Camus has some needlepoint
- Charlette’s Collectibles has a set of three plastic canvas Santas with great beaded beards
- Cleopatra’s Needle, a British maker of needlepoint kits, has their popular herb pillows as well as other designs.
- DebBee’s Designs has her wonderful charted needlepoint pieces, with a great gemstone series, Glitz & Glamour
- Dinky Dyes is showing off their lovely threads (some of my favorites)
- Fern Ridge has an unusual needlepoint purse
- From Nancy’s Needle has marvelous charted needlepoint based on quilt designs
- Gitta’s has silk gauze available in several counts
- Half Moon Handworks has Chameleon Threads from South Africa as well as a great needlepoint scissors fob
- Handblessings has some lovely needlepoint pieces in textured stitches, with charms included
- Handy Caddy has those wonderful clear organizers in several colors
- Images Stitchery has their wonderful lap stands and wood accessories.
- In the Company of Friends has bookplates, thread palettes and other tools
- Kelmscott Designs has their magnetic needle holders and other tools
- Needle Delights has fresh, bright charted needlepoint, with stitch samplers, quilt-based designs and geometrics.
- Needlepoint, Inc has their lovely stranded silk and Northern Lights overdyed silk
- Needle’s Content is the European distributor for Gloriana’s great threads
- Northern Pine Designs has their great charted needlepoint designs, some of which feature Jean Hilton stitches
- Olde Willow Stitchery is featuring their silk floss
- Potpourri, Etc has Appleton Yarns and Beth Russell kits
- Primitive Traditions has several Bargello charts to stitch on linen
- Puffin & Company has their great floss separator I reviewed
- Rishfeld Designs has their lovely painted canvases and Judaic designs
- Sekas & Company has their charming hand-painted fobs
- Stitch a Gift has those great stitchable mesh bags, I posted about awhile ago
- Stitches & Spice has hand-dyed thread
- The Thread Gatherer has some of their threads, plus large and small Odds & Ends bags of thread
- Uncommon Scissors has small scissors with many unusual motifs
- Zecca has their polymer clay accessories and several painted canvases
There is also plenty here for folks who love other needlecrafts with cross stitch and blackwork most common, but you can also find crochet, puchneedle, beadwork, knitting and quilting.
Remember that the show is only open for a limited time (it closes Monday at midnight) and that you cannot order directly from the show (it’s for shops only). Call you favorite shop and ask them to order for you.
