On-line Needlework Show Now Open!
This is the weekend for the Fall On-line Needlework Show. It’s open now and closes at midnight on Monday. The show is a wholesale only show, but anyone can view the designers’ pages. Then you order items from your local needlework store.
I did this in the spring, getting some products through Homestead Needle Arts. It’s a fantastic way to do shopping in your PJ’s.
To start scrolling through the vendors, click on ‘general’ under viewing or click on the links below; they take you directly to that page. There are also contests and doorprizes happening, so check them out as well.
Needlepoint
Barrani has the Wise Men (third row left) and Holy Family (bottom row, second from left) stockings. Brenda Kocher is also in the show and has the lovely Winter Forest available. It’s on the right in the first row. She also has a lovely new Or Nue project, North Carolina Lilies.
DebBee’s Designs has her wonderful projects at the show, including the great Tahiti stitch sampler. It’s in the center of the top row. Nancy’s Needle has her lovely quilt designs, along with many others. Her newest quilt is in the second row, second from the left.
Handblessings has their wide variety of products here, including the Norwich Pumpkin (last row right).
All of these companies had their products written up in Tuesday‘s post.
Cleopatra’s Needle has lovely needlepoint kits including their signature floral designs done as glasses cases. Great kids’ projects too. Gitta’s is a well-known name in petite point and is here with a representative selection of their designs.
Needle Delights has wonderful charted canvas pieces including Tahiti (top row, middle) which was just announced earlier this week. Northern Pine has their innovative Bargello and counted canvas projects here.
Risfield Designs is showcasing some of their hand-painted canvas needlepoint. Sekas & Co has several of their fobs and hearts.
Threads
Dinky Dyes threads are at the show, including their new silk ribbon and stranded silk. Needlepoint, Inc. has their silk available here.
Olde Willow Stitchery has grab bags of their cotton and linen thread. This is a great idea because their linen has been discontinued. Planet Earth silks are wonderful (read the review of these threads) and are new to the show.
Potpourri, Etc. has Appleton wools in the show. Stitches and Spice has hand-dyed threads and fabrics. Their threads include stranded and single ply silk, stranded cottons and sampler threads. Full sets are available. Thread Gatherer has limited edition colors and a large odds and ends bag.
Accessories
Sajou has some lovely new scissors with fabric cases. They also have wooden sewing accessories. Handy Caddy has their caddies and totes in a variety of colors.
Images Stitchery has their needlework frames including two mini and mini mini sizes. Kelmscott Designs has their needle minders and scissors at the show.
My Big Toe has a variety of stitcher’s accessories including mini scissors fobs and making pins. They are in the right column on their page. Needle Frame has some lovely laying tools in the bottom row of their page.
Nordic Needle has several clever tools in the show, including a charmed laying tool and painted tweezers. Puffin Company has their floss separators, scissors keeps, and needle minders, along with their other products the floss separator was reviewed in this blog).
Stitch a Gift has their charming bags (some of which have insets for stitching). Uncommon Scissors has a variety of unusual small scissors designs.
Finishing
Look at the little bnrass frame in the bottom full row from Beardie Designs. If you stitch on silk gauze or make small needlepoint items, this is a great idea.
My problem here, as always, is that there is too much good and tempting stuff.

I will refrain from saying any of the really bad words I am thinking, as I mull over my visit to the on-line Needlework Show which cost me $35.00 ( as wholesale buyer and late signer upper).
Clearly, although I went to every single *store* there I did not see all the wonderful things Janet saw (except Nordic Needle’s tools were nice) but I do want to note.
The on-line Needlework Show is easily 80% cross-stitch.
That’s all. I can’t be trusted to say anymore
