You’ve found the perfect inspiration for your next needlepoint. But finding what colors you need is always a challenge.
This little widget pic2color is your lifesaver.
You can give it a picture, a file or a URL or a random selection. It takes this picture and generates a palette of color swatches below it.
Try it!
How do you use it?
Let’s say you’ve fallen in love with canvas and you’ve ordered it, but you want to gather your threads ahead of time. Use the widget to get an approximate breakout of color and use those swatches to find your threads. In my experiments, it’s not totally complete, but there is more than enough to get you started.
Click on any color to get the hex value of the color.
