Start the New Year with a Great Needlepoint Stitch-along

This year’s stitch-along project from Blue Dogwood Designs is called Sashiko.

Inspired by this traditional Japanese quilting technique, the project will fill outlined shells with stitches inspired by blackwork, openwork and fabulous backgrounds.

Stitch it using silks & cottons from Valdani. If you don’t want to count out the outline, you can purchase a line-drawn canvas from the designer (pictured here).
