Vacation

Washington, DC and Annapolis are two of my favorite places. My DH and I (and our youngest) went to St. John’s College, which is in Annapolis. Our eldest lives in Arlington, and we have tons of friends and relatives in the area.

Today we leave for a ten-day vacation in the area.

I should explain that our vacations are generally rather strange, here we go 3,000 miles away and what are we doing?

On two of the days, no kidding, we are getting together with friends from here who will also be in the area.

Another part of the vacation will be spent moving our youngest from the dorm to an apartment in Annapolis.

This is all a long method of explaining that I’ve written blog posts until May 20 in advance and they will appear, one a day, while I’m out.

In the meantime, while I’m gone I hope to get lots of stitching done and maybe even visit a needlepoint shop or two.

And come back rested and refreshed, especially since we are flying on Virgin, my absolute favorite airline.
